U-Funded is a project that is sponsored by the UJ SRC trust funds community.
The project shown in the video above is a website and mobile application that aims to improve the efficiency and productivity of the SRC, making it easier for students to apply for funding.
Students have the option to apply for funding through both mobile and website, according to their convenience. Furthermore, they can keep track of their applications, resubmit any rejected docuements and contact the SRC office for any queries.
The current system in place by the SRC requires a lot of physical paperwork to be done to process applications. Our project aims to digitize the whole application vetting process and provide reports on the funding management.
The MindInstaller team worked on this project over the course of the 2023 year. After overcoming many obstacles the project has reached its conclusion with the team happy with their work.
This is the second project that the team has worked together on. With this in mind it can be concluded that the team have very good cohesion and know what to expect from each member.
The team made use of a multitude of material to help them complete this project. Laptops, mobile phones, online documentation. With all of this at their disposal the team was sure to succeed.
