Call for Extended Abstracts

RECODE 2025 invites Master's and PhD students in Computer Science and Software Engineering to submit extended abstracts for poster presentations.

Symposium Overview

This one-day symposium aims to promote academic exchange and networking between up-and-coming researchers in the fields of Computer Science and Software Engineering. RECODE 2025 will take place alongside the prestigious 39th Annual Projects Day, organized by the Academy of Computer Science and Software Engineering at the University of Johannesburg.

The Projects Day attracts a wide variety of industry and academic partners, providing an excellent opportunity for networking and collaboration. This creates a unique environment where student researchers can showcase their work to both academic peers and industry professionals.

What We're Looking For

  • Research Areas: All areas of Computer Science and Software Engineering
  • Submission Type: Extended abstracts (4-6 pages)
  • Presentation Format: Poster presentations with brief oral summaries
  • Eligibility: Current Master's and PhD students
