Welcome to RECODE 2026
RECODE 2026 invites Master's and Doctoral students to submit extended abstracts and posters of their research projects to the 2nd Symposium on Research in Computing and Software Development to take place alongside our 40th ACSSE Projects Day at the University of Johannesburg.
A selected number of accepted abstracts will be invited for oral presentation during the symposium. The aim is for Master’s and Doctoral candidates to interact with fellow candidates as well as gain valuable feedback on their research from experienced academics. Extended abstracts will be published on the RECODE 2026 Book of Abstracts and will be hosted on arXiv.
A Future Impact Award and a Frontier Research Award will be given to selected abstracts during our Projects Day Award Ceremony on 14 October 2026.
